What sets Anderson’s Catering apart from others?
Not only are we proud to have been serving our WNY guests for over 65 years, we are proud to serve you more healthful, all natural catering options than many others in the Buffalo, NY area. Additionally we have a dedicated Catering Coordinator to assist you with questions, planning ideas and customizing your entrée and dessert selections.
What Catered items are All Natural?
Roast Beef, Turkey, Grilled Chicken, Chicken Tenders, Burgers, Mac & Cheese.
What does All Natural Mean?
These items have no preservatives and are hormone free. Read more about our nutrition.
What is different about your ice cream?
We make our ice cream ourselves! Yes it is all handmade! All 10,000 gallons are hand stirred the old fashioned way at our very own ice cream plant on Sheridan Drive in Kenmore.
Do our foods contain allergens?
Many of our products contain or may come in contact with common allergens including wheat, peanuts, soy, tree nuts, milk, eggs, fish. Cross Contamination may occur in any of our facilities. For ingredients and nutritional information please see our web or ask the manager on duty at your nearest Anderson’s for details. We are proud to serve select menu items as gluten free options.
Could you send servers to our event?
Yes! We do offer our “Handmade Ice Cream Sundae Bar” or “Handmade Ice Cream Cone Service”, we can do that with servers too!
Our catering service team is well versed not only in serving Anderson’s menu items, but also prepared to service your guests with professionalism and of course sweet smiles!
Minimum Guest count for any package with Service is 30.
Can you deliver?
Yes, we offer delivery on all non-served items. See current order forms for delivery fees.
Can I pick items up at my local Anderson’s?
Yes you can! Please see order forms for timeframes required and check out our locations to learn more about each.
*some items may not be available at the Lockport location.
Can you label each Boxed or Bagged Lunch with names?
If your group desires to have personalized bagged or boxed lunches we can do that! Indeed each guest could select their own customized sandwich, side item and drink and then we would label it neatly by name or number for ease in distribution.
On the Party Food To Go Order – what is the difference between a platter and a tin?
Tins are generally preferred for those opting to serve the all natural roast beef or all natural turkey hot.
Platters are generally preferred for offering cold sandwiches.
If you are ordering our all natural roast beef in tins, the beef is cooked more rare and platters are cooked more medium.
If you come to our office or home to cater a full service party do you need electricity?
We do not always need electricity though many times it is preferred if available. Our catering coordinator can best answer this question based on your menu and guest count.
Can I customize items?
Our catering coordinator certainly can assist you to customize offerings where possible. Some special features we have “scooped up” are the Bride & Groom’s favorite specific sundaes, to matching sprinkle colors and sundae toppings for themed events.
Do you offer discounts for non profit / charitable organizations?
We do offer some discounts; our catering coordinator can discuss this with you, please call 716-633-2302.
How do I order?

For “party food to go” you can order online or print an order form to complete and fax to 716-633-2671 or email to firstname.lastname@example.org…… Or if you are picking your order up from a location you can call that location directly.

When do I order?
Packages that require service generally need 7days advance notice. Other packages require advance notice of 24 hours.
Do I need to pay a deposit on orders?
Yes. For events with the Anderson’s team serving there is a $50.00 deposit. For all other catering orders a credit card will hold your order.
If I have ice cream delivered to me how long will it stay frozen?
We prefer to deliver your ice cream as close to serving time as possible. Ice cream sundae packages are delivered in boxes packed with cold chillers and foam to protect the product. With that said, you have a short window of approximately 30 minutes from the time we deliver before it will start to melt*
(*when the boxes are kept out of the sun and covered with a blanket provided by you.)
For those who prefer we can deliver ice cream in our rentable “Silver Bullet Coolers” which will elongate the shelf life. These are just like an old fashioned beach cooler that is on wheels. It will keep tubs of ice cream and pre scooped dishes/sundaes frozen for up to 3 hours from the time it is delivered. *
(*When kept closed and out of the sun and covered with a blanket provided by you.)
The “silver bullet cooler” has a rental fee and an additional fee if not returned within 24 hours of use. (The silver bullet cooler can be returned to the closest Erie County Anderson’s location to you.)
What is the cancellation policy?
Orders cancelled less than 3 business days before the event date may incur a cancellation fee, regardless of type of order.
What if my group is tax exempt?
There is no tax charged to those groups with a tax exempt form.
What is the gratuity and admin fee?
We charge 10% gratuity and an 8% admin fee for events requiring service. That allows us “tip” the people that prepare and pack the catered items.
